I Love Bailey

Well, our little girl is going to be 8 weeks tomorrow! She has really livened the apartment up and we just can’t keep her busy enough. And, she’s had a few ‘firsts’ this week:{MORE}

First Bath - she HATED it!; First Playtime outside - she LOVED it & tried to eat any and all leaves off the ground; First time to meet new people (besides us) - she was funny & not too sure of them; First Thunderstorm - I really don’t think it fazed her at all; First Treat - she can’t get enough of them!; First time to bark (if you could call it that) - she suprised herself & I think she was kind of spooked too!; and I’m sure there are more I just can’t keep up with them.

I truly think that having a puppy is like having a kid-we love to spoil her, I can’t wait to get home & see her & I keep buying her things! :) She is one spoiled little girl. I bought her a Christmas Ornament the other day online & had her name engraved on it…Kyle just laughed at me. And mom is going to make her Christmas Stocking to match ours-yup, I’m a sucker!

Although I must admit, now that we have her, I’ve decided we need to wait longer to actually have our real kids. I don’t think I’m quite ready for 2am diaper changes.

The dog formerly known as ‘un-named’

After countless hours of deliberation, and several hundred name suggestions to go through, we finally decided on a name. Bailey. It seems to fit her perfectly, now we just have to make sure she doesn’t think her name is “Bailey, No!” or “No Bite, Bailey!”

Help Name Our Puppy!

You heard it here first folks, Heidi finally wore me down, and we are now the proud owners parents of a brand new 6week old female Jack Russell Terrier…who has yet to be named.
So let me tell you about our little girl.{MORE}

Her mother’s name is ‘Baby’ and her father was ‘Buddy’, and she has 6 brothers and sisters. She was the most playful puppy that we saw, and the most sociable. She’s a cuddler, loves attention, and can’t stand to be by herself…even if we are in the same room. She loves to jump, and run, and play with her froggy. She is learning that her bed is made for sleeping, and that her water bowl is the best place to drink water.

We thought it would be fun to let our friends and family give us some name suggestions. Just remember, she’s a cute little thing, she deserves a fitting name.

Here’s a couple more photo’s we’ve taken:
