We have recently been offered the opportunity to get a new different vehicle for roughly the cost of 2 of our existing car payments. My father is selling us his 96 Olds Cutlass…because he doesn’t need it anymore, and once we get it, the 2002 Black S10, is being put up for sale. Some of you are probably wondering…”why aren’t you selling the 97 S10?” It’s older, less dependable, doesn’t have a stereo to enjoy your music, and the driver-side door doesn’t shut correctly. Well, it all really boils down to a couple things.{MORE}
Since I’m a web developer, I figured I would be putting my talents to good use and setup a website to help sell the truck. Take a look at the beginning stages, and let me know what you think!
My 2002 Black S10 - For Sale
You might notice that things are looking a little differently around here…if you don’t, then you need to upgrade to Firefox. Not because it will help you see the changes (though it will), or because it will help you cure world hunger, or even because it will encourage world peace. I just wanted to shamelessly plug my favorite browser, and since this is my site I can do what I want!
Back to the topic at hand.{MORE} The site is getting a facelift…little by little. From time to time you might see things get changed up, or even dissapear. Not too worry though, I’ve learned a trick or two about making things re-appear. I probably taught myself that skill, because the only things I’ve learned from Copperfield and Blayne is how to waste my precious time watching them impress the same people on the street who don’t know who Abraham Lincoln was.
The new look I’m going for is something of a blend of the modern and classic styles. The new logo font was inspired by the letterhead I found at my grandfathers house (an auto and tractor repair business he owned when he was younger), the stripes were inspired by me (the stripes that were previously here, sucked…), the colors will probably stay roughly the same, and all of the other changes (which I’m sure you are eagerly anticipating) will go unnanounced…because that’s how I roll.
If you have any comments on the design, or the direction of the design, please keep in mind that this is my blog. If you offer anything other than the utmost praise of my design, there is the possibility that I will ban you to the outer realms of the internet…or, as I like to call it…dialup aol.
Have a great day, and I look forward to hearing from you!
